Family Karate, as its name dictates, is not just for adults or kids, but for entire families. Students may also be inducted into the National Black Belt Club through recommendations by the instructor and parents or other sponsor.
- Experience: We've been teaching families for over 30 years.
- Expertise: All of our Black Belt Instructors are Nationally Certified (and most are parents themselves)
- Excellence: The only Taekwondo program in Southern California certified by the World Martial Arts Ranking Association.
Karate for Kids
Your children are our most precious responsibility. Our Black Belts are committed to giving your kids a head start in life. At Family Karate, children learn courtesy, cooperation and concentration. Many parents of children with ADD and ADHD have been thrilled with their children's progress at Family Karate.
"Danny's response to your instruction has been unbelievable! His improved attitude, cooperation, courtesy and respect make his father and me very proud." --Mrs. Stacy Whitney
Karate for Families
Karate isn't just for kids! At Family Karate, Moms and Dads enjoy fitness and stress relief in this great family sport. Your increased stamina and concentration will pay off at home and at work.
"I have lost weight, toned up, increased my energy, and feel great! As a single Mom, it's also great to know I can protect my family." --Ms. Janet Clark
Community Involvement
Everyone at Family Karate helps to make our community a better place. In partnerships with schools, sponsors and service clubs, kids learn about helping others through:
- Karate kids say no to drugs: Family Karate teams perform over 100 drug education shows each year. Call us today (760-746-0983) for a show at your own school.
- Karate for physically challenged: Family Karate teaches over 100 physically and developmentally challenged kids and adults each week through a program sponsored by the Kiwanis.
- Charity fund raising: Family Karate has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for children's charities such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
